"I TOO HAD A LOVE STORY" by RAVINDER SINGH is his debut novel which is based on his real-life incident.The author met and fell in love with a girl named KHUSHI on social networking site/matrimonial site but unfortunately five days before their engagement the girl dies in a car accident.
This novel is extremely good and emotional.This story made me cry. The language used in this novel is simple,easy to understand,no hard words were used due to which reading in a flow was possible.I just loved the character of Khushi. She was very lively, funny and a perfect example of how a girl should be.
Ravinder was very supportive, loyal, hardcore lover and a matured man.He is a gentleman.The love he has for Khushi can be felt while reading the novel and even his pain of losing her is unbearable.I really got goosebumps while reading the end part of the story i.e when Khushi met with an accident. I also loved the romance part of this story especially when they got stuck in traffic due to the heavy rain, it was a very filmy incident but however, it was too romantic.Their love for each other was truly adorable. What fascinated me was they fell in love without seeing each other.
I really wish this story was fictional because no one in their worst nightmare would want to see their loved one's death.But life doesn't stop if someone or loved one leaves.You have to move on in life.
This novel correctly defines the true love. The story showed the fact that ,"KAL KISNE DEKHA HAI".No one knows what's coming up next in our lives,whether we'll be able to see the sunrise tomorrow or not.So we should live in the present moment to the fullest because there's only one thing on which we don't have any control i.e death.
I would definitely suggest this book to people who believe in the concept true love.
